Lorraine Bakery
is a truly Artisan Bakery with all Baked Goods produced by hand with the minimal aid of a few small mixers and machines. We are using European ovens with stone decks and steam injection. Our product is European inspired, since our head baker is from Germany.
The product is versatile and very seasonal. We are using farm fresh produce in our production as much as possible. We are using Vermont butter for most of our production, as well as King Arthur Flour. There are never any additives or preservatives in our products. We specialize in old fashioned crusty breads, baked from water, flour, yeast and salt only. We produce our own laminated doughs, used for Danishes and Croissants, as well as our own brioche doughs. We also carry savory items, like ham & cheese croissants. There are currently over 100 different pastry items and over 30 different breads in our repertoire, which we bake on an alternating schedule. We might choose to adjust product according to weather condition (heat / moisture)

Russell W. Fisher / Fisher Studio

My watercolor paintings reflect a quiet realism in a variety of subjects that include rural landscapes, picturesque barns, country stores, historic sites, animals, birds and flowers. My art is represented in numerous private and corporate collections worldwide.
I am a self-taught artist and have been painting professionally for over 20 years, however my love for art has existed since childhood.
I like the personal connection with my clients and truly enjoy selling at the Nelson Farmers’ Market. I always have a selection of original paintings and prints available in my Afton studio and the Valley Green Gallery, Valley Green Center Nellysford. I truly cherish my God- given gift to express what I see through watercolor paintings.
